Angelique
Angelique
has been an instructor of the Ashtanga yoga
method for nearly four years. She has studied
with Paul Dallaghan, David Keil and Sri K.
Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Rangaswami
in Mysore, India. |

Gaia
Budhai
Gaia is
the Founder and Consultant for Synergy.
She is a Transformational Breath Work practitioner
trained by Judith Kravitz, the developer and
founder of Transformational Breath therapy.
Gaia is also a Trance Dance instructor certified
by the Natale Institute, the creators of Trance
Dance. She has achieved proficiency in the
practice and teaching of Yoga, Primal Theatre,
and meditation. Gaia's effervescent personality,
combined with her heartfelt warmth and conscious
leadership, make spending time with her a
truly joyous and healing experience. |

Jenny
Cornero Born
in Argentina, Jenny earned a Communications
degreen and then moved to the Bahamas in 1995
to experience the essentials for a yogic life
at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat. After
her initial yearlong participation in the
Sivananda lifestyle, she became a dedicated
yoga practitioner and international teacher.
She has been travelling since through all
the Americas and Europe teaching yoga following
the Sivananda yoga style, empowering peace
of mind and spirituality, as well as physical
health. She propagates Yoga and non violence
(ahimsa) in this world by helping people discover
teh benefits of a daily yoga practice. Jenny
runs one of Synergy's Yoga Studios in Miami
Beach and is part of the staff in the Teacher
Training Program offered twice a year. She
is deeply inspired by mer master Sri Dharma
Mittra. |

Diana
Dalton First
introduced to yoga when she was nine, Diana
has enjoyed a consistent yoga practice for
over four years and is now a Yoga Alliance
registered teacher. Her vinyasa and sweaty
yoga classes are dynamic, challenging and
fun! She is also a freelance writer for magazines
and a proud member of Synergy’s Board
of Directors. |

Ganapati
Since
1999 Ganapati has been involved in the field
of Holistic healing, helping other unlock
their own potential. He became a Reiki Master,
Master Teacher in Magnified Healing, as well
as; intensive courses in Astrology, Numerology,
Meditation, and Chakra Balancing. He took
a course at the University Of Florida to study
Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program
wanted to become a nutritionist, fate had
other plans for him. A long time Yoga practioner,
a friend suggested to become a yoga teacher.
After finishing his training at The Sivananda
Yoga Ashram in NY 2003 he came back to Miami
to teach Yoga. Taking Workshops and Courses
in Ashatanga Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Power Vinyasa
Yoga, Colorgized Yoga, BodyTalk, and taken
part of the Omega Yoga Conference in Bal Harbor
2005.
He came to SYNERGY CENTER FOR YOGA AND THE
HEALING ARTS in the winter of 2003. Fell in
love with the environment and its people.
Now Ganapati is the manager of Synergy SOBE
Center and is looking forward to growing,
and sharing more with his new found community.
“ I love Synergy and its teachers they
are beautiful and have a great vive. I feel
Synergy is my second home” he said.

Kristin
Jones
First
introduced to yoga at age 8 by her mother.
Kristin began to infuse yoga into her life
through her teenage and college years. In
2003, Kristin completed her 200-hour multidisciplinary
yoga teacher training in Wilmington, North
Carolina and has since studied with many
renowned teachers. Kristin's Ashtanga teaching
has developed from study with Sri. K. Pattabhi
Jois, Chuck Miller, Maty Eratzy, David Keil,
and Mr. Sheshadri. Studies with Shiva Rea,
Seane Corn, Brian Kest, Twee Merrigan, and
Simon Park have influenced her Vinyasa classes.
Kristin believes that yoga serves to liberate
the soul, and can ultimately heal and free
our internal world, as well as the world
at large. With a B.A. in Psychology, she
is now pursuing a Master's degree in Mental
Health Counseling. She desires to yoke the
healing powers of yoga and psychology for
more holistic therapy. Kristin’s asana
classes are strong, yet nurturing; with
emphasis on finding spiritual peace within
physical challenge. In her classes and in
life, Kristin allows genuiness, compassion,
and joy to lead the way. |

Karman
Karman's
passion for movement, stretching, breath,
and body awareness has been quite evident
since childhood as a practitioner of dance,
cheerleading, and gymnastics. It wasn't
until her last year in college where she
discovered the ancient healing practice
of yoga and began practicing regularly and
soon there after began teaching at the university
gym. After college she went on to receive
her Yoga Teacher Training Certification
at Synergy Center for Yoga and the Healing
Arts, and soon began teaching Hatha and
Vinyasa classes at local spas, studios,
and private clients. Her journey then took
an intersting turn when she recieved news
she would be expecting. She began to research
and study everything in the area of pregnancy
and nutrition and recieved her Pre-natal
Yoga certification from Goldenbridge Yoga
Center with Kundalini meditation master
Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa.
Today Karman is primarily teaching Prenatal
yoga, Mommy and me, and Kids yoga. She believes
her yoga teaching has reflected her new
found love for pregnancy, mothering, and
of course children. |

Sergio
Medina
Sergio was born in Santurce, Puerto
Rico in 1963 and is a new addition to the
Synergy family. He completed his Yoga Teacher
Training at Synergy. Sergio is a top rated
trial attorney in South Florida, practicing
for over 14 years and also operated an art
gallery on South Beach promoting local artisans
in the early 90's. His diverse background
and experiences have lead him on the path
of yoga, to which he dedicates most of his
time to the learning, practicing and teaching
of its many branches. He believes that through
the practice of yoga we learn to quite the
mind from judging and desires, and find peace
in our hearts. Blending all styles into a
dynamic class, Sergio currently teaches at
Synergy, local health clubs and privately
throughout Miami. |

Russo

Arabic, Indian, Rajistani, and Morroccan.

Ken
Von Roenn III
Ken has been practicing yoga for 11 years
and teaching the last 6. He
has a BA in philosophy and has studied all
of the major world religions,
and incorporates them into his classes. He
has studied Iyengar and
Ashtanga yoga, but has found his passion in
the Anusara style. He has
been teaching solely Anusara for the past
4 years. Ken was drawn to
yoga to improve his rock climbing, but after
sustaining serious injury
he learned the beneficial aspects of yoga
therapeutics and meditation.
